Not So Vindicated.

This post is going to be mostly a recipe, as there is much needing done around these parts right now. Thankfully, everyone is doing more than their fair share, and things ARE getting done. Today, we’ll even have the F train, which is normally the most unreliable train, and the train line I happen to live on. When I heard it would be open today I felt like doing one of those “How you like me now, A train people? BOOM!” and then dropping my mike, and walking out. VINDICATION!!!!! Then I heard it wasn’t going to be working anywhere near me, and I stopped feeling so self-righteous.

The shuttle busses are less than regular, much like people who only eat one color of food per day. Hopefully, things will get back to normal soon, and we’ll be in the swing of things…until then?

Bacon

Pomegranate Maple Glazed Bacon to be exact.

This is sooooo easy, what you do is pour all of the pomegranate arils and juice from one pomegranate into a saucepan with 3 tbsp of maple syrup and cook for 10 minutes on medium. Bake bacon on a cooling rack on a baking sheet at 425, glazing every 4 minutes until crispy!!

Go forth and get shit done! Though now that I know you’re awake I’ll simply be distracting you for the remainder of the day ;)
