SUNDAY SWEET!! The Sunday Sweet that almost didn’t happen. Why, you ask? Because, yesterday, THE FRICKEN SKY WAS FALLING! Ok, so maybe nothing that drastic, but there were tornadoes in Brooklyn. We don’t typically have those, so it was a bit strange. I also think I saw an evil looking old woman riding a bike past my window when my house was flying. I can’t be sure.
Power was on and off all day yesterday in parts of Brooklyn. There were many streets that were underwater, and I think the hipsters in Bushwick were thoroughly scrubbed.
Luckily for all of you, we had breaks of daylight, and bits of power. During this time I made the “Sunday Sweet”. I could’ve done something more constructive like take a shower, but who needs clean hair when they can can watch a Ken Burns documentary on Prohibition whilst knocking back a whisky sour? Answer? NO ONE. That’s who.
After that, I think the cabin fever from the storm got into my brain like syphilis, because Sunday Sweet is a mess of debauchery.
