I am telling you, my level of commitment to you scamps is astounding. I worked all damn night last night, yet I still arose to make a Sunday Sweet. I feel like I should get a gold star, or martyr’s badge, or extra large iced coffee, at the very least. I’m also quite friggen cheery. Has the world gone irrotational? Is up now down?
This week’s Sunday Sweet isn’t unorthodox, it isn’t “healthy”; it barely even borders on sustenance, it is so not good for you. It has all three of Paula Deen’s food groups: sugar, white flour, and butter. It lacks bacon and mayonnaise, but I am sure you can fit those in your diet later on in your day. Note to my British readers: proper streaky bacon PLEASE. Not the Britty stuff, you need all that fat to pray at the altar of Paula Deen.
Today’s Sunday Sweet is ridiculous in its ease. Can you open a tin of croissants? Yes? Can you stir sugar and lemon zest? Yes? Can you put things in muffin tin spaces? Yes? You’re good then.
I give you….
