Here’s the thing. I get a crapton of emails about what my workouts are and what I workout to.
Today was a Run/leg day. I did a quick 6 miles. For my run, I listened to music for most of it, but switched about 3/4 of the way through to “Once Burned” by Jeaniene Frost on audiobook. I love Jeaniene Frost’s books like WHOA. If you like “50 Shades”, but also value ass-kicking heroines, not being told what to do by some dicknickel businessman, and you know, a STORYLINE? This author is FOR YOU!
I love books. I read them. I listen to audiobooks. I dream of them at night. I read Dr Seuss to my kids with voices and dances and wild abandon. Books are pretty much the best thing ever.
Here are today’s splits.
Mile 1- 7:48
Mile 2- 8:10
Mile 3- 8:40 (red light-long one)
Mile 4- 7:21 (making up for the red light)
Mile 5- 8:19 (regretting making up for the red light so hard right now)
Mile 6- 7:51 (yes, this is nice. lets stay here, on this nice park bench, don’t bug me, swan, I don’t care where your nest is. Oh, it’s right beneath me?? You’re going to kill me, aren’t you, swan? RUN!! RUN AWAY FROM THE SWAN!!!)
Mile 6-6.5- 3:40. fear of the swan.

Trust me when I tell you, your legs WILL be jello after this. Severely pained jello, but do this 2x a week, and they won’t wiggle like jello anymore.

Wow that does look like a great leg workout… I love that you said you went for a “quick” 6 mile run. Like it’s just a stroll in the park
6 miles feels like a marathon to me! Maybe one day it will be quick for me too. Something to work towards
I NEED ME TIRED JELLO LEGS TODAY TOO.
that means I be stressfree
That’s one hell of a work out, I’m surprised you can still walk. What a evil swan trying to attack you after a 6 mile run, I guess on the up side his pursuing of you was extra encouragement to run that little bit further.
