Dirty Things With Peanut Butter.

Did you know it’s national peanut butter lovers day? Did you know it’s peanut butter appreciation MONTH? You thought an entire week of pancakes was awesome. An entire month dedicated to the legume I love with all my loins? WIN. I LOOOOOVE peanut butter. I eat it nearly every single day. In my oats, my yogurt, for my lunch, on my fruit, on my husband, in my protein shakes. I love the stuff.

Seriously, when the pediatrician told me that the Peanut had lost weight while she was sick and needed to gain weight, (in the words of the MizFit) quick, fast, and in a hurry, I immediately thought of my favorite spread. She has had peanut butter, chocolate, banana, and heavy cream milkshakes every other day. I die of jealousy.

In honor of Peanut Butter Lovers Awareness Month, I am shooting out a quick, healthy, granola recipe for you.

Maple Peanut Butter Granola. COULD YOU DIE!!???

I am so glad that you are in existence to keep me informed of all these important holidays. National Peanut Butter Month should have WAAAAAAAAAY more fanfare.

I eat peanut butter every day. EVERY DAY. It is the greatest food on the face of this earth, with the possible exception of cheese.

This morning, at 3:30 am (what? I’m immensely pregnant & sometimes need a protein snack at 3:30), I had a slice of sharp cheddar WITH peanut butter smeared on it. It was awesome.

PEANUT BUTTER. (I didn’t so much get back to sleep after 3:30 am, which may explain a LOT about what else is going on with this comment.)

  3. And this is my favorite day of the year :) You know I love PB!

  4. PB granola…yummmmmmm :) I’m making this over the weekend!
